The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a California Car Crash
The visionary game developer, the mind behind the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The influential industry figure lost his life when his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and we stand with his family and friends, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
