'Our Mission Involves Only Eliminating' - How Sudan's Ruthless Paramilitary Group Perpetrated a Massacre

Fighters laugh as they travel on the back of a transport truck, speeding alongside a series of nine lifeless forms and moving towards the descending African sunset.

"See all this work. Look at this instance of mass destruction," a fighter shouts.

The individual smiles as he points the recording device on himself and his fellow fighters, their paramilitary badges clearly shown: "They will all perish in this manner."

These individuals are celebrating a mass killing that humanitarian officials believe killed over two thousand civilians in the African urban center of al-Fashir last month.

An Urban Center Severed from the World

Following their control of the urban area under siege for almost two years, from late summer the militia proceeded to strengthen its control and prevent access for the remaining civilian population.

Orbital photography show that forces started to erect a massive berm - a elevated sand barrier - surrounding the perimeter of el-Fasher, blocking access routes and blocking aid.

As the siege intensified, multiple people were murdered in an militia strike on a religious building on September 19th, while the United Nations said 53 more were slain in aerial and cannon strikes on a makeshift community in October.

Graphic Video Reveals Unarmed Civilians Gunned Down

At dawn on late October the paramilitary force overwhelmed the final army defenses and took control of the main headquarters in the community, the main facility of the 6th Infantry Division, as the army retreated.

One of the most horrific footage to surface and analysed showed the results of a massacre at a university building on the western side of the community, where scores corpses were seen spread across the ground.

The man turned to glance as a fighter equipped with a rifle moved down the staircase in the direction of the victim. pointing his firearm, the gunman fired a solitary bullet at the individual, who fell to the surface lifeless.

"How come is this individual still living," another combatant cried. "Kill this one."

Satellite images taken on late October appeared to verify that executions were additionally performed on the roads of el-Fasher, based on a report issued by the Yale Humanitarian Research Lab.

Despite the online effort being employed by the paramilitary, their conduct in el-Fasher have generated global anger.
