Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
