Ex- Doctor Accused of Assault Allegations Involving 38 Individuals in His Care

Legal authorities report that a ex- doctor stands accused of performing sexual assaults against thirty-eight victims who were patients.

The Serious Allegations

The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of acts of sexual assault – some of which involve some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021.

A deputy chief prosecutor commented, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to support a detailed and complex police inquiry, meticulously examining the available evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”

The Police Inquiry

These allegations come after what investigators called a “complex investigation” into alleged sexual offences at two hospitals: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital.

Spencer is due to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.
